Partition bulkhead between the galley and the saloon segregates the kitchen from the saloon. On the saloon side, one finds shelves for more than a hundred books. On the galley side the bulkhead is used for kitchen tools and provides a more usable layout in the kitchen. This partition can easily be removed if necessary. Beside the fact it’s creating a cozy classic yacht library atmosphere on the saloon side, a separate kitchen has proven to be much more convenient and professional when a crew, chef or stewardess is hired.

Galley

Galley-Saloon partition: In the saloon, a partition teak bulkhead segregates the saloon from the galley. On the saloon side, one finds shelves for more than a hundred books. On the galley side the bulkhead creates nifty storage of kitchen utensils and provides a more usable layout in the kitchen. Beside the fact that it is creating a cozy classic yacht library atmosphere on the saloon side, a separate galley has proven to be much more private and professional when a crew, chef or stewardess is hired. PLEASE NOTE, this partition can be removed, to create the original configuration should the new owner desire.

Accommodations
The general arrangement of the vessel is cleverly designed with companionways and access doors between the interior and the decks. A sheltered side deck to starboard allows the crew to move freely from the helm to the cockpit for docking maneuvers without entering the saloon. Up to nine passengers and crew can live together for long periods of time on Tipasa. But rather than space, spaces are even more important. On a Nordhavn 55, each and every crew member will find privacy. With a smart flow between the saloon, the staterooms, the wheelhouse and the decks, the crew will never have the feeling that the boat is crowded. All of the popular factory options have been selected but several improvements have eased the daily life and operations.
