Built in 1987/2016 refit. A Timeless tri-deck yacht fisher with explorer yacht capabilities that features a new contemporary interior and updated equipment. Originally built as Crystal by Deep Sea Marine which was a proven cruising and charter yacht throughout the past years. In 2016 a major refit was conducted by her then owner with direction under McCarter and Associates design. Now, with the latest owner under the new name EL REY, the yacht yet again has received continued improvement. Major upgrades under both ownerships such as Gyro and Fin stabilization, Sewage treatment plant, updated electronics, 4000 lb. davit, AV, Savant system, and the list goes on. A recent yard period at LMC in south Florida was conducted prior to her passage to So Cal in late 2020. El Rey is now being offered for purchase and ready for the next journey. All aspects of the interior were changed in 2016, El Rey’s layout features 5 guest cabins, sleeping 10 guest and total of 3 crew cabins and a separate Captain’s cabin aft of the pilot house. The cockpit measuring 16’ X 26’ in full teak and an integrated swim platform allows for endless fishing/diving capabilities. The Cal deck offers two large teak tables and two built in settees along with stowable teak chairs, a day head is to starboard. There is a large glass window along with a large glass door leading to a very spacious salon with warm joinery and soft goods, this along with abundant amount of natural light makes for a perfect retreat. Forward of the salon and midship is a custom bar with back lit multi color changing glass top, there is also a small lounge area. To port features large galley which is open, airy and functional which was influenced by a chef during the 2016 update. Further forward is the media room and lounge area with a day head, forward facing windows and side windows allow for a perfect area to take in the surroundings. Access to the foredeck is via a starboard door, teak sole and large hot tub with a seating area facing forward. Below the main deck forward are 2 guest cabins with ensuite heads and forward of the guest cabins are 3 crew cabins sharing 2 heads. From the main deck there is separate access to the owners’ cabin with a full beam master and large ensuite head with shower and jacuzzi tub. There are two cabins forward with queen berths both with ensuite heads. The bridge deck offers access to the Portuguese bridge, with two wing stations and forward-facing bench seating. The pilothouse offers new flat screen displays and two Stidd helm chairs with chart table to port, a L shaped Settee and table to starboard, an office is just aft of the helm area and the captain’s quarters is furthest aft to port. There is a large teak boat deck with teak lounges, teak chairs and fitness equipment, also an abundant amount of toy stowage with a new 4000 lb davit. The Flybridge is accessed via the boat deck and features helm station and bench seating covered by a fixed hardtop.
